Im really interested in a steel tray for my thai 2010 rx.

What are the best brands to look at?
How much would i be looking at roughly?
Would like one with removable sides and tailgate.

Put a steel tray on my 2013 ST about 3 weeks ago. Picked it up from gumtree for $2500. Was going to make one but for that price I dint think I could have. Extremly we'll made and heavy. Also came with the cage and canvas top. I think this way is very versatile, can remove the cage and still carry large items.

That was a good buy.
Expect anywhere from $3500 as a minimum up to about $5000.

I have a Steel tray for sale, it a Michell from Tamworth, one of the oldest and best known in the area, it is 1840 wide and 1740 long, STD dual cab size, it has the polished stainless tops on the tray sides.

50mm head board bar, mesh back, I can send photo's if you like.

Cost new $4500.

It is off my ute now and ready to go.

does anyone know what the chassis width is for the tray. in the process of building mine and haven't take the tub off yet.

I done my time working at Obieco Industries in Tamworth, NSW. They make a great tray, have more cross-members under the floor compared to most.
As for chassis width, take the tub off and start from the mounts up if you don't have a jig.
