OBD II Problem !

Hello

I own a Nissan terrano 2 2003 with a ZD30 in it, im trying to connect a obd 2 scanner that works just fine on all my other cars but it doesn't work on my nissan i tried another program (both with lap top) no success.
When i plug it in it has power but in the program asks me to turno on ignition wich is already on.
Tried with running engine still no success.

Did anyone had this issue before ?
Do you have any ideas what it might be ?

its because its not obd2, its nissan consult2. same plug, different software.

as tweak said, doesn't use the OBD2 protocol. So a normal, off the shelf OBD2 reader won't work.
For the Consult data, this works (courtesy of fritz.fx member):

1 x Nisbie Bluetooth Adaptor A3 (ON-A3) = AU$4.90
1 x Nisbie Bluetooth BT3V24BA with 6-pin (ON-BT3V24BA) = AU$39.86

And the software is NDSI for Android. (not the prettiest interface, but it does the job)

Oh i didn't know about that since it was obd2 port i thought it was malfunctioning.
I am from Europe do you think i can buy on that website ?
It doesn't look like its been sent from a European company (because of delivery time)
