My apologies for this rant.
When did we give up ?
When did we decide to just vote to avoid a fine ?
When did we decide to be treated like children by idiot politicians ?
When did an elected government get it into their heads that they could tax us to death and screw us, and we should say "thankyou, screw us some more" ?
Lots of other questions I could ask but, geez I'm totally pissed off with the way we are being governed.
Just my rant and sorry but it's Friday night and I've had some liquid cheer

**** it all and time for another beer

I forgot to say thankyou to every federal and WA government for the reboreing I get.
Bugger me, it's a great feeling being rebored where you don't need it most hahahhaa

I did get a refund but it was the extra tax I pay every pay day
maybe I was being sarcastic in my original post or it just went over everyones heads.
I don't care, I'm almost near the end of my working life so keep working and paying ya taxes to pay for my pension, I've paid tax for 50 years so I want some back hahahahaha

Maybe we should request a refund on the pm.....

I still can't understand in this day and age of free trade and company's sending contracts off shore and these 457 visas. Why can't we bring in a PM from India who will work for a quarter of the wage, and the same goes for local pollies bring them in from the Phillipines and pay them peanuts, be great for the economy, no pensions for life, and we don't even need security for them, as there's always another willing to take their place. Would save us millions

That is very true. Maybe instead of voting at the next election, we should all flip the ballot sheets over and write who we'd rather be pm on the back hahahha

Bugger me, did i have a hangover this morning ? you bet i did and thank god they make panadeine hahahhaaa
seems I had a good rant last night LOL

Why is it that when a "party" loses an election the aren't unemployed, they just get to call themselves "the opposition" and still get payed the same as if they're still running the country?
Party "A" loses, becomes "opposition", party "B "gets in, 4 years later party "B" who sucks gets voted out so party "A" who lost the last election cause they sucked end up ruling again - rinse, repeat. Is the only way to stop this cycle to shoot them when they lose an election? Any better alternative?

All hypothetical of course! I wouldn't condone shooting politicians.

Dictatorship. At least you can get things done. China been travelling pretty well for while now.

A public flogging perhaps? lol!

I hate politics

I hate voting

I hate both parties pissing, bitching and moaning about who plonked their twinky in a hookers winky

I hate more the Liberals and their always getting up and campaigning against Labor by slagging off the construction industry.

Call me biased but...
What type of Australian gets up and tells everyone that a profession doesn't have the right to earn what they do and questions the fairness of the wage rates because they didn't go to uni or didn't do this or that.
Construction workers, just as any labour based workers, work hard in an environment that is both physically and mentally challenging, and risk injury, whether immediate or future long term like injuries. We go through four years of training both on the job and theoretical and practical education at tafe. We are then declared qualified by the employers who trained us and the relevant tafe authorities. Some trades (as mine is) are required to then sit rigorous licencing testing to obtain the relevant licences to work in their trade and be responsible for the work they carry out.
Who says one bloke who goes to uni to work in their said profession is more entitled to their wage than a bloke who goes through a similar amount of time training in their profession to work as a tradesman.
Corruption grows wherever corruption can breed.
How dare politicians have the sack to label our whole industry as corrupt, or any industry in particular as wholly corrupt. How dare they question anyone's wage rates and what they are entitled to.

That's like a a construction worker saying "they all root prossies on the tax payers dime. Why should they get paid so much?"

You are entitled to what you are paid for the job you do as agreed and set out by your employers, industry standards, relevant work place relations bodies, etc. Just as politicians earn what they earn for the responsibilities their job carries.

How about a fairly run campaign where you run on your own merits and policies and leave the public out of it?

No? You can't do that?

Didn't think so

F#@k politics

You sure hate a lot of stuff. Now you know that type thing is going to just chew away inside of you. Not healthy and can muck up rational thought.

Your right tho, the libs are total pricks. They were pulling money out of a commission into the sexual abuse of children in institutions while pouring more dollars into the building and construction industry commission. Shocking, but noticed once a few lib names started popping up into it it's gone a little quiet on that front.

My Rant-
While I'm at it the intellect of Abbott has to be commented on. Like there is no intellect. If you don't believe me watch the opening speech to the G20 leaders in Brisbane. Out of all the problems in the world he is ranting on about a $7 doctors co-payment fee and how university students should pay more. It's like WTF! Don't forget who he addressing here. I just couldn't believe it, talk about cringe worthy- I felt like crawling under the couch. Is this guy for real! Maybe he is pulling the piss out of all of us and we haven't worked it out yet.

Maybe where just all dumbed down enough to go yeah ok Tony.

Yay it's over, I voted and now I don't have to listen to pollie bullshit for awhile

Apathy is creeping in.

No, No - listen, listen all the time. Not just in election campaigns. They control how you live. How you spend, how you pay tax, and dare i say it even how you think.

Meh

I'm over it.

I just got set off by Costello on channel 9 saying words to the effect
"now that a Labour government is in blah blah the unions and the construction industry blah blah blah high wages and rorts blah blah"

Seriously it's getting old... Don't hear them call into question any other group cause apparently according these dickheads the construction industry will become the next ISIS and take over the world

But hey they're no better than each other. Libs, Labour it's all bullshit smoke and mirrors and lies. While I can appreciate this game of politics can't be easy, I really hope a another party get up in my lifetime so these f#@ktards might just go "hey, we both lost... do ya reckon we might be f@#ing this up?"
