Nope, first I've seen of it, anyone witha D40 should seriously consider fitting decent bash plates if what this bloke claims is true.

Yeah seen it on outerlimits. Gotta agree with Shonky, if I owned a D40 I would upgrade the bash plates straight up.

Took only a minor slip into a rutt for me to bend mine, changed it straight away to a 3mm TJM steel plate the moment i got home. All this said he shouldnt have driven it with a broken fan.

He shouldnt have driven it but nissan "service" is rubbish.
They told me they would only tow me 20ks and the rest was at my cost.....i was 3 hours away from the dealer...so i trailered it there.

Nissan Aus, Nissan "care", and the nissan dealership have been nothing but unhelpfull for me, rubbish after sale service.
