Hi everone this is my first time on the forum. I have just got my first D22 2009 modle and am look forward to getting ideas to improve my new truck. :wash_truck:

One thigh I am look to find out is how to improve my fule economy I am presently getting around 10 to 10.5 L per 100 klm out of the 2.5 turbo. I am hoping I can do better than that.

Put a snorkel on it you will get at least an extra 50km per tank..well that happened to me when i put one on. but get an genuine nissan snorkel they look better.

Hey mate.

It will take about 10,000km's or more for the engine to wear in.

My ZD30 really improved at about 50,000km's.

Dave.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum.

As said, wait for the first 10,000k's. Maybe try an ECU reset?

Thanks everyone I'll take that all on board. Has any one done a gas converson and dose it work?

Welcome to the forum, Kenwar.

My 2.5TD didn't settle until about 13,000km but I'm still getting over 10LPHK because of the weight. Steel bullbar, winch, canopy & Hayman Reese hitch all add up to a few hundred kg overweight. We're supposed to get 10.5LPHK and I've had a tank @ 10.96, but usually get in the 11s.

An ECU reset (power off version) might help, give it a try it will not harm the vehicle at all (it's really just removing the battery and making the ECU forget its fuel settings).
