Evening boys and girls, just wanted to rave about the new D40 ST auto over the last 2010 model. Last time I posted was two half years ago about fuel usage, 550ks out of tank on a long run. Nissan said it was with in specs but changed the fuel sender unit but didn't tell me and it jumped to 650-675ks on the same run. Apart from that it ran like a dream for three years 180000ks. I got the 2013 2.5d ST auto last week and did a quick run from Bris to Roma and back and the thing is smother, quieter, more powerful and gave me 800ks with 10 lts left in the tank. All the new dials and stuff told me 9lts per 100ks, how good is that and what did they change to make it so much better in so many areas.
Happy Sharpie. :redcool:

Congrats on the new ute... I believe the new model 2.5's have the 147kw motor with more torque than the 2010's. problably better fuel mapping too. Maybe someone else can confirm this.

2010 St i had was a Thai built and the new ST 2012 onwards are Spain built and basically a rebadged 2011 STX.
Which means the new one has a different cylinder head, Turbo, ECU, air box, exhaust, EGR and with the auto i believe the new one no longer runs a DPF, there are a few other minor changes but those are simply due to the country of manufacture and spec level.
