Thought i would check how much the suspension has settled now that the ute has done 3000km, anyway Not sure if i read the tape wrong or what but the front is now at 565mm....:hmmmm2: i was expecting it to drop not grow :dontknow:

Gotta be happy with that but where will it stop?

That will make up for the winch.

Thats what i thought Joe, the winch is going on this weekend so i will put the tape on again and see where it ends up.

ARB rear bar is now on, fitted up the dual battery system and the lead for the camp trailer battery, fitted the trailer brake (P3) controller, also picked up the sliders and second set of rims from the powder coaters yesterday.
The sliders were zinc coated before they were powder coated.

Will add some pics once i fit up the sliders.

Sell it to Dave, he told me last night he'd love a D40 and would happily trade that birdshit white D22 in for a spare tyre for a D40.

Pick my new STX up next Friday, just gettin a factory snorkel fitted to it, which I'll have too take off and make sure it's sealed properly.

Dave I know where there is a nice grey D40 for sale.

Just in time for Chrissy Brad, nice timing!

What bits and pieces are you taking off the old one to put in the new one??

hey nath how far can you get your hand in the front of the bar! are you able to get at the side of the winch' the reason I ask is I'm getting the same bar and have a hydraulic winch and need to access the side of the winch to operate the taps from high to low on the passenger side thanks.

Yeah you can without much drama, you just have to reach over the main bracket which mounts to the chassis which is not really a prob.
I can put my hand in there and reach the end of the winch and all the way to the centre of the spool.

Oh in that case it looks just like dave's and it's not worth **** because it gets flashed too often.....(although it may be covered in ****)

Too late, it's festering in your head right now and you are going to dream about it tonight.
