man thats awesome looks so good dont think u will have any problems wid any level of track. credit to u mate well done

Thanks mate.

So tuff truck has left me feeling pretty happy with some of my mounts and that my slider mounts will be able to take the exo. Some of the stuff i seen was pretty shocking.

Also decided ill be wasting my time at tuff truck next year without rear steer. Short wheel bases were struggling to get around alot of areas, the longer guys having to slowly back and forward there way around.

At the moment looking at cutting the knuckles off a GU front diff and putting them on a GQ rear diff, with a GU front centre. Not ideal but should have a spare front diff soon and i can get a spare rear off a mate that has 3 doing nothing.

Nah still getting rego, just have to swap the rear diff over to the rear steer one.

I wish i had too much, this would be finished already. Havent done anything for a month purely because of having no cash.
The rear steer wont be expensive, only thing i cant do is make the custom length axles.

So finaly did something worthy of taking pics of.
Started on the Bar work...got half way through doing the rear hoop and put a bend too high so had to scrap it... will use the start of it as a jig, luckily was able to use the rest for the brush bar.

So i gave up on the rear hoop for now and went to the front...where the front bar proceded to give me the shits because of the crumple zone and crap approach angle.
Got the top bar done and 2 supports to hold it up, couldnt do anymore without the whinch to trial so moved onto the brush bars. Looks like they stick out alot but its only an 1" clearance on the flares, the gaps where it meets the tube bar are for where it will bolt on. Im going to tack all the exo together then work out where to make it seperate in as few a places as possible. Itll probably be welded on in the end but need to take it off to fully weld and paint.

The pics...

Looks crap in the last pic..but hopefully once the winch cradle and flares are on itll look a bit better.

Mate the cage, i mean ladder rack, is going to look awesome!! How are you gunna go with the airbag compliance thing? Did you find a way around it with your engineer, and if you did, how? I'd love to build a tube bar for mine if I could only get around the airbag issue!!

Probably just a tigerz winch up front, and move the aldi winch to the rear. was going to go a himount but i have no intention of winch challenge stuff so i dont see the need.

Still have to wait and see about the airbag compliance...one reason it is being made removable.

Glad you're not going a himount... Bit of a cliche.

Haha, its only been me and him working on the exo so ive had him working pretty hard.
