Hi guys, I have been thinking of doing a write up on my Navara for a long time so here I go.

I bought my Navara back in September 2011 brand new, it was stock standard.

heres a photo of it when I first got it home.

The first mods that I did is fit a Uniden uh015sx UHF radio & a Tubliner. Then I fitted a Gitsham alloy winch bullbar with Custom 6mm bash plate & Roo Lite 220xp spotlights.

here is my Nav when i first fitted the bullbar

After about 3 or 4 months I bought the Nav, I found a Blue Hard Lid on Gumtree for $500 so i bought It & fitted That.

This is My Nav about 2 months ago in Melbourne at Weeribee Open Range Zoo

Last week i had a pair of Rola Heavy Duty roof racks fitted and an annex on one side, last night I fitted a ARB Turbo Timer, which I bought on eBay. you gotta love eBay

I still have BIG plans for it which include

*Winch
*Suspension Upgrade
*DP Chip
*Canopy
*Draw System & Fridge
*LED Spot Lights on Roof
*Snorkel
*2.5" Full Exhaust
*Long Range Full Tank

I really enjoy working on upgrading my Rig, I hope to hear opinions from you all soon

Looks really good mate. I take it yours has the Bluetooth head unit, how did you go mounting your UHF? I'm trying to drum up some ideas for mine but can't decide.

Cheers

It took us about 2-3 hours to completely install the winch next on the list is to upgrade the shockers & install a snorkel

Just another update on my buildup,

Today from work I ordered shockers to upgrade the standard ones
they are Raw4x4 shockers made by Powerdown
they will set me back around $300 for the set which is not too bad
can't wait until i get them & fit them.

heres some pics of my turbo timer & UHF, note where I have mounted them, i couldn't think of any where else to mount the UHF

i agree with you i dont know why they made it, its good for nothing, i was going to make the hole larger & mount the face of my UHF there but the turbo timer was easier to mount there

Hi today I got my Raw4x4 shockers. I can't wait until the weekend to fit them.
They have a 2 year or 150,000km warranty

after I have done the shockers,
I might attempt to do the snorkel
(waiting for my tax return money to come through first to buy a Nissan one)
Is it hard to fit it ?, have you guys got any tips on fitting them ?.
or should I let Nissan do it.
I am a qualified mechanic & i dont mind buying the hole saw,
do you get a template with the snorkel ?

It does come in handy if you have a remote for your garage door... Thats what i use it for anyway

Hey mate, havent heard of these RAW 4x4 shockers before be interested to see what your thoughts are of them. Had a chance to use your winch yet? as for fitting the snorkel i have a nissan one sitting in the back ready to be installed. plenty of threads on here, and by reading around seems to be if your half handy and confident with your tools your better off doing it yourself and knowing its been sealed and fitted properly.
