Hey guys i got new rims and tyres cooper stt 265 75 16 and 16x7 +30 offset

Theys stick out a lil just wondering if its sticker material

Not sure. Check ur regulations. One would be no mudflaps so probably not legal. But the tire doesn't stick out past the furthest part of the guard. So I'm not 100% sure. I would pick it as a cop but some of them are fussy.

I'm in nsw. Have ran that same setup for over a year. No trouble. And now running 285/75 which stock out further. Not trouble yet

It was either a +30 or +14

ok maybe +14, +30 wouldn't stick out so far. Bbut even +14 should be tucked in more on the 7" rims.

The tyres are not allowed to stick outside of the guards/flares.
This looks like they just sit inside, so i cant imagine you will have any trouble.

I fitted 265/75/16s and 16 by 8 with 0 offset rims to my d21.
These stuck outside of the guards and was fairly noticeable.
I got some L brackets, glue and garden edging from bunnings and made my own 'flares'.
I have been through RBTs / pulled over and never pulled up on it over the last ~1/1.5 years.

Illegal in QLD... They busted a mate not that long ago.. the way they checked was to put a flat bar on the sidewall of the tyre/rim and said it should touch the gaurds.. looks like yours won't..
Thats in QLD anyway

That's the same interpretation they use in Vic terra88.

If i was you i would be checking the rim offset, because as you have written it they should be only 10 mm wider than the stock wheel/tyre combo. To me they are more like a negative rim.

i like the fitment! but didn't know +30 would stick out that much! sure it's not in the negatives? now i'm having doubts on getting 16x8 +20

I'm running a 265/75R16 KM2 on 16/8 0 offset rims and they look the same as mine, mine barely stick out at all and have had no problems with the fuzz as yet

cops in perth are pretty slack if you don't draw attention to yourself. i have been pulled over zoo many times and they don't say anything about the illegal mods on my nav
