I got the first of the D22's 97 model QD32 which has 214 000kms. Had the car since 145 000kms. Not one problem yet. Oil and filters changed every 5 oookms. Bolted a second hand turbo kit from ebay on about 10 000kms ago and everything still is fine. Touch wood.
Ute is up to 220000kms but has just had a complete engine rebuild ($6500) after some moron drove it through water without a snorkel! The bonus is now it drives like a new ute again
Has had the turbo recon'd, and is on it's 3rd windscreen and 2nd tub.
d22 str 03 just clocked 113,000km bought it with a
fuel pump problem at about 95,000km 1 year go fix it straight away
changed nissan suspension was crap changed it with Arb 2" lift kit happy with it also got winch and bull bar
just ticked over 7k 09 d22 st-r platinum alloy bullbar, towbar and canopy pretty happy with it except only driver door has courtesy light..pretty archaic i thought
The D22 engine (1999 KA24E) in my D21 has about 120,000 on it. Only had 110k on it when it was written off at the ripe old age of ten years, giving my old fella a new lease on life.
Jan 03 im still the first and orig owner, 190,000km. Nothing major wrong, changed the air con compressor that **** itself, was my fault, otherwise too much to list, need to read my build up thread.
03 STR 175k kms, had for about 1 month. all pretty easy kms, still has original suspension all round. the rear springs have sagged to the HD leaves so will be upgrading to 40mm foam cells with 2" lift (with the current sagging state it will probably be a 3" lift).
March 2005, 78,000k's on it - no major problems since I bought it with 71k in October. Done oil / oil filter once already and is due again this weekend.
2005 model 86000 km's had it since Sept bought it with 79000 km's don't like watching the kays go up but just love driving it, still think of it as a new toy...
