Help! Tray for d40

Just wondering on what people have done to improve the use of a steel tray. Example maybe under tray storage, fuel and water etc. I'm also wondering if anyone has the dimensions of the chassis mounts. I'm prepping up a tray at the moment to go on my d40. Will have some custom electrical plugs and LEDs, I want to have the tray all ready to go on other than mounting brackets. Any help or ideas would be sweet

I have an alloy Flexiglass tray.
Under it I mounted a 2nd battery on the small chassis cross member just behind the cabin (it's a king cab). One thing I will be doing is cutting an inspection panel into the tray so I can get tio the battery.

Have tie down points and not just rails, so your rope won't slide.

Design with the consideration that you may like to add rear wheel carrier/s, jerry can holders, hi lift jack holder etc.

under tray water +batts led lights dog cage with lights in it plus inverter point plus anderson for fridge tool boxes and soon to be roof top.

tray is 180 by 1800 but there is not much of that left.

Did u end up finding out what the chassis mounts are in width
