Hello all, just checking things out.

Not a Navara owner, but I do have an Xterra.

I have had a few Navara's (Frontiers) in my driveway. Will post some pics when I get time.

Thanks everyone, the Xterra has had a short list of mods. It has been kind of a slow evolution that has yet to include some much needed suspension.
Here is a pictorial history. Most of these mods I built myself.

The power plant is the VQ40DE, no performance mods.

VQ40DE.

Tony its the US of A.

American's dont like diesels in anything smaller then a full size pick up. Wish I could fit a 6.7L Cummins in my Navara or even a Duramax.

Where as Europe favour diesels, doesn't help when there fuel is taxed to all buggery.

Great pics mate.

Nice looking rig. Is it about the same size as a pathfinder or closer to a patrol?

The older shape Xterra was a D22 chassis. Leaf springs and torsion bars aswell.

Id say these are still leaf, American's dont seem to care about Leaf springs. D40 Chassis is my guess.

The old Ford Exploder had leaf springs in the back and they sold by the truckload.

As i always say....."aint no substitute for CI's"

I agree with you, just not on the TD42 though.

Its majorly outdated and the most overated engine of all time.

American's bag the **** out of the 6.5L V8 Chev diesel.

Everyone talks them up here, I am sure if we got the Duramax, Cummin's or Cat engines here as cheap as they do, there would be no talking up of the Chev.

Thanks everyone, sorry about the duplicate post, did not realize the moderators had to ok it before it went up.

Most of us here in the off road communities would love a diesel option, we just do not get the choice.
