I'm looking forward to this forum! I run a D21 Navara, 1992 4WD d/c TD2.7t, auto trans. It's up to 240,000km and was starting to lose power and getting thirsty, so I just had the fuel pump re-sealed and re-timed etc and also the injector nozzles done. It performs like a new truck now although I haven't yet re-calculated the fuel consumption. It has open diffs, and I'm starting to use it for moderate off-roading, so the next step is some traction control. Any recommendations welcome re LSDs vs autolockers vs airlockers - with my auto trans, will autolockers behave well on-road? cheers

LSD's are cheap and work good, but a diff lock is better again.

Oh and welcome.

You can only get an autolocker for the front, so that one is easily sorted.

In the rear, you can either fit an OEM LSD or an ARB airlocker. How deep are your pockets?

Won't be an issue on-road as the front hubs will be unlocked and the rear can't be an autolocker.

good enough, with the front locked you'll keep crawling along anyway.
