heelp guys! reviewing the photos of the butterfly mod i can see there are 3 hoses wich controls the butterflys. my d22 have only 2 hoses. ive got some pictures to show. if anyone have any idea how to do the butterfly mod, since ive already blocked the egr.

i dissabled the swirl control (red plug) and used black tape to prevent it from getting dirty.

if anyone have any idea? ill really appreciate it.

look at the pictures where the lines are all together with a small assembly, there is 1 missing, and i tried to look for it thinking that maybe it felt off or something alike and no, there is no place to put another line there.

heeeeeeeeeeelp!

thx

It looks like your missing the egr solinoid.
Your egr actuator and sutdown actuator is differant to my 06 ZD30.
I think if you have the one vac line going from the egr/shutdown actuator to the shutdown solinoid it would be ok.
I am not 100% sure on this though maybe on earlyer models the set up was different.
Did you buy it new? if not maybe previous owner tried to do something resulting in the removal of egr solinoid and changeing the egr/shutdown actuator.

tweak'e has some excelent pics and info in the egr/butterfly mod thread.
I done the mod and an exhaust a week ago and it is deffinatly worth it.

in some countries they don't come with egr butterfly. looks like yours is one of them, therefore theres no egr butterfly mod to do. just block the egr, disable the swirl valve if you want to and its all done.

thx tweak'e i already blocked the egr at the turbo end. should i block it elsewhere?

thx for the tip! regards

i would block it at manifold end which is the more common place as its easy to do. it just cuts down unneeded manifold volume.
