I was born in QLD. I hate NSW and the coast has become like Sydney. Too many city slickers so busy now.

I spent some time there in July, it was awesome. So many cool old Queenslander houses...so cheap too. Where I live you can't buy a 3 bedroom house for under $500,000. It's boomed here massively and not in a good way.

It sure is. Absolutely ridiculous. My parents bought their house on the Central Coast for $132,000 and its now worth $670,000. They had it valued recently. They have done 6 extentions/ renovations though.

But the problem is when they go to Sell it

They become back into the low end of the market. They have to dig deeper into the pockets. Because the houses keep going up and up. Just crazy
