When it's fitted. (The rear bar) who ever fits it should fit a trailer plug for the lights blinkers etc. and if they are a good installer they should give you a choice of say a 7 pin flat or 7 pin round. I run a 12 pin flat for extra connections and a standard 7 still can be plugged in to it. Any way it should come ready to go bar the tow ball.
