Embarrassingly I almost considered buying a Landrover Defender, but the Missus wasn't interested in sewing leather patches on the elbows of my sweaters so I had to find an alternative. Was considering a Unlimited Jeep to complement the shorty JK we already have until I discovered the MGOC Jeep club.

Although they do them for older models it's a hell of an expense when you've just shelled out $50+ for a new car just so it looks like another new car.

Thats a rare 4.2 with air bags as 2006 was the last year with that motor and the first to come out with air bags. For comparison, my 2005 GU ST ute with 168k cost me $28 000 private sale at the start of last month so dont rush into anything Aido. It came with dual batts, hd pedders, spotties, alpine bluetooth cd so wasnt stock standard either. Happy hunting!

Buff and polish.

Already spent over an hour and $25 down at the car wash yesterday just blasting mud out of the underside and the afternoon detailing the inside with a toothbrush.
