Gearbox woes, please help

I've recently come back from a pretty full on 4wd trip and for some reason the gear stick is really sloppy in the gearbox. It still changes gears fine no grinding etc. Still accelerates fine. Is it possible that its worn bushes around the shifter itself or could it be the gearbox?

The selector bush will be worn, it's usually plastic and located at the point where the shifter meshes with a shaft in the top of the box, I have replaced it on another vehicle that I had, not the Navara but I believe most manual boxes are similar.
