Front Diff :(

G'day the other day i had to get towed out of the mud and when the guy pulled me out i heard something like a click and a crunch so thats when i put it back in 2wd and went on home and then i found the problem i dropped the front diffs oil and a tooth off my crown wheel snapped off dose anyone know how that happend so i know how to avoid it in the future and also dose anyone know where i can get a new front diff from ?
any help will be muchly appreciated

Yep what model. Try niss 4x4 in Williamstown Victoria.

Stronger front diff used in the V6's.

all the information i could find was
nissan navara 2006 d22 dual cab
5 speed manual
3ltr turbo diesel
VIN - JN1CNCD22AOO6O58
and the only numbers i could see on the diff with out pulling it out was 6.9.2

Get an R200a front diff for it. They came out of the V6 4x4 D22 navara. They're a hell of a lot stronger.

if i put an r200a diff in my nav d22 yd25 2010 model would i be able the throw a locker in it??

Yep. It's the same locka as the rear of yours

Yeah mate. I have 4.6:1 in mine.
When ringing around ask for that ratio
