If the claims by Xenophon are accurate, it's not only Qantas that you should refuse to fly on, it's Jetstar as well.

Senator Xenophon is pretty close to the mark with his comments.Most of what he said has been going around the rumour mill at work for awhile.
Most of the new aircraft the the Qantas group is getting is going to the new cheap airline they want to setup in Asia or Jetstar.Qantas mainline will only get 2 more A380 plus some 737-800,737/900,A330.The new 787 will go to Jetstar in 2012/13 the Qantas gets them in 2014/15 maybe.

Privatisation is always a bad idea, just look at the state of Qantas and Telstra.

We cant even get lights fixed at Telstra.
