Fitting a larger battery 2012 STR

Measured up my spare landcruiser battery and ..well it fits apart from the polarity orientation

then made up another battery support on the passengers side that will fit the OE battery...in actual fact the cruiser battery could fit in both sides.

Nice can u still fit a snorkel with the second battery

Will it be far enough away from the egr tube so as to not boil it? I was going to do this when the batteries shag out.

My EGR has a blanking plate so not an issue for me.
The distance is approx 30mm and the EGR valve is only open at low rpm's and you always have the fan bringing air past this area....so I dont believe its an issue

I had the snorkel in there before I fitted the 2nd battery
