Welcome to the forum!

What you need to do to your rig does depend greatly on what you want to do with it. Tell us more!

The EGR block is a popular one that improves economy and power and reduces smoke.

Tony is correct, what order and what sort of mods depends upon what you'll be doing with your 4x4.

A tourer might want a canopy and a long range tank, a weekend play ute might want muddies and a lift etc etc.

I would suggest that the 2 most common mods on the forum seem to be tyres and a 2inch suspension kit, that doesn't mean you have to start with those though (or even do them at all for that matter).

Oh.. and welcome

Welcome, I have had mine for Over 3 years and been a lot of placecs stock standard the nav is a very capable 4x4 so long as you put the wheels in the right place and take your time your truck will get you most places with ease its true there are a lot of advantages to lift kits but they can be expencive and some people do a lift then decide they want to change (harder /softer etc) work out what u want to do with your truck first than look at mods. for my money if planing on touring or quick weekeng camping trips its snorkel ang and egr mod to improve economy, tyres for saftey and good grip , than getting the camping geer set up to suit your needs so that quick getaway is possable on a friday arvo, a fridge and power supply are a must and there are some good deals around

thanks for reply, canopys on its way ,i bought a steel tray on ebay a year ago and i have slowly been making a canopy for it. My Navs got a aluminum tray so i will put the steel tray on soon bit more weight on the ass.Its got a bullbar ,a set road tyres on it and i have spare set of bfg muds on wheels in the shed ready for some fun.first i plan on putting a long range tank, dual batteries and steel side steps.not sure about blocking egr i dont wont to hurt the new toy.

block the egr cost ya ten bucks wont hurt anything worth its weight in gold try when you do it if ya have time take the whole egr tube of and clean it out thats the gunk thats been going back into ya engine

HI and welcome, it'l hurt the new toy NOT to do the egr mod, had mine three months and so far I've done the egr/swirl mod, re indexed and raised the torsion bars slightly (it was really low in the front due to the steel bull bar) added extended greasable shackles to the rear so it sits nice with the camper hooked up and of course working through all the filters, oil changes etc so the maintenance is all up to scratch.
Another thing was checking the brakes and wheel bearings, there was some play in them so they're adjusted nicely now, there will be more things in the future but I'm very happy with the truck for now and it suits my camping, touring purpose ie: camper, kayak, mountain bike and daily driver.

thanks for advice, ive got a old stainless sink in the shed i reckon its a couple of ml thick or so .do you think it would make a suitable egr block?
