Vehicle is:
Navara Tekna 2020 Auto / D23/ NP300. UK model

A severely damaged and heavily repaired radiator led to engine overheating. A 2018 Radiator and a new head gasket was installed.
After these installations, the above code appeared.
I was told the following:
1. Water pump was faulty - replaced
2. Electrical auxiliary water pump next to radiator was faulty- replaced
3. Clutch fan was faulty - replaced

Still the fault is there. It triggers an intermittent red check light and occasionally the red light changes to the Amber.

P1028 - 96
are you sure its the right code? there is no code like that in the book, in fact no codes at all in the p10xx range.
edit: assuming diesel ys23 engine. there is a p1078 for the petrol engine which is exhaust valve timing sensor. P1028 on the yd25 which is exhaust gas pressure 1 sensor.

it would be good to check that its picking up the correct engine.

Thank you. Do the other codes mean anything to you?

Hi

Thank you for this. Do the other codes in the image mean anything to you? Are they related?
