Just bought a D23 Np300 with 2.3L twin turbo engine.
Engine runs for about 5 seconds and by then the revs have dropped so low it stalls. Doesn't make any funny noises or anything suggesting there's any problems. Ive cleared the fault codes and tried to start it but it does the same thing.
It has 3 check engine codes:
P0130 02 sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 1
P24AC EGR Cooler Coolant pumnp feedback circuit low
P24A8 EGR Water pump control circuit
The o2 sensor resistance/impedance is 2.2 ohms- outside of the 3.3-4.4ohms in the workshop manual so I will replace this. I tried running it with the o2 sensor unplugged but it still stalled straight away.
It may be just petrol engines that run with the o2 sensor unplugged?
Does anyone have any recommendations for the other 2 codes? Some people are saying to delete the EGR or use a cable to trick the ECU? Would this fix the codes?
Would these 3 errors cause the car to stall or is there something else I should be looking for?
