If the workshop manual is correct, it means to get at the switches, all I gotta do is lever up the plastic.
I can't see a screw anywhere holding it in so is that correct.
I have seen a post where you might be able to pull the switches apart to fix them but is it just cheaper to replace them.
Passenger front window will go down but not up and driver side will not stop unless I push/pull the switch to get it to stop.
I have seen where the switches are about $65 a piece, is it possible to fix them or is it case of just put new ones in.

thanks shorty, I gather the motor is inside the door somewhere.
it'll give me something to do now LOL I wasn't all that worried but the passenger complained a lot haha

Drivers side front window works differently to the others, at least in mine. Touch the button and it runs the whole way, but for the rest you need to hold the button on.
Presumably for driver safety that the window is quicker and responds differently.

The drivers window does work faster but I would have thought if you let go of the switch it would stop.
I still have to check the passenger side switch as it wont work correctly.
Thinkin just get new switches as the window motors are still working ok.

Nah, doesn't stop. You need to fiddle with the switch to get it to stop partially open.

Does the driver's side switch have "auto" on it? Mine does and it has 2 indents on the switch. You pull it up or push it down a little bit until you feel it get some resistance on it and it will stop when you let the switch go. But pull it all the way up or push it all the way down past the first indent and it will auto up or down...
