ok, i think i may have gotten water in my ecu when my ute flooded, im now trying that as an issue as to why engine wont go,
1. where exactly is it located ( i have a dual cab d22 2005 zd30)
2. how do i test this?
thankyou

It is below the radio, in front of the gear stick. I don't really know if there is a way to test it without trying another one but the service manual may have a diagnostic procedure in it...

Another thing you may need to try is pumping the primer while someone is cranking the motor over. If somehow any air has got between the primer and injector pump or injector pump and injectors that will help push it through.

Other than that I'm not sure. Maybe open an injector line and see if there is fuel coming out while cranking? That will tell you if the injector pump and / or fuel shut off solenoid is working

I got UTE WORKING problem was water in ecu. I just used hair dryer to dry out and start turn over straight away.. So happy. But... Some corrosion has set in. Can I use Co contact cleaner? Or will that short circuit and destroy it? A new toothbrush? Or too late. Going to fully corrode soon?

yes contact cleaner will clean it the you need to put something on it to stop the corrosion, go to you local electrical wholesaler they should have something on the self for that, will have a look when i go to work tomorrow for what to get.
