ECU Cover on new Navaras

[APTUNING]

Had a customer call up with brand new Navara who wants to get his ECU remapped/reprogrammed. To do so I have to remove the ECU. Previously easily done. The new Navaras have a moulded cover over the ECU. Anyone know how to remove this cover? I will confess I am not mechanically minded but this guy builds race cars for fun, neither he nor the Nissan dealer seem to be able to remove either.

What's the trick??

sorry mate missed the message yes I have attached a picture ( I hope )

The new ones seem to have that plastic cover, I am starting to think it is glued in place with a rubber/foam seal once and to remove this needs to be cut off

so the challenge may simply be where to get a new seal to replaced it once the ECU is tuned
