d40 gear knob problems

hi guys,

unsual problem and i will try to explain it as best as possible;

the gearstick in my d40 no longer "pushes down" to get into reverse, it stays in the one spot and i can simply go far to the right and select reverse...or 6th gear...

im assuming it might just be a spring or something but would anyone know for sure?

Might be, until I try to shift to 6th one day and accidently find reverse

I find with the SES one ending up in 6th instead of rev
