D40 both break lights work, only one tail light works.

Hi, having an issue with my lights. Both break lights work, however only one tail light. Have tried 12v and 24v bulbs. Have check housings and wiring. Not sure where to go from here.

It is possible that there's a problem with the trailer plug wiring. It's also possible that the earth is not great and power is going through another globe - you'll know if there's more than one bulb glowing very dimly.

Any chance of putting a multimeter to the unit?

@Old.Tony - does the Navara use the old Brake / Tail globes combined?

If so, it could just be the filament for the Tail light that's blown in the globe.

@kms357 have you tried swapping the globes from 1 side to the other to see if the problem persists?

My Navara uses the standard BAY15D combination 21W/5W bayonet 12V globe.
