2 switch blanks on the right side just under the vent. Great spot for spotties and fog light switches.
I can't get my hand up there from under the dash to push them out, so how the hell do you manage to wire in switches there?
Don't want to lever them out with a screwdriver, I'll just scratch the crap out of the surrounds.

Ideas please?

Hey mate. The way i took mine out is, put a screw smack in the middle of a blank, then pull it out that way with some pliers. The way i see it, i'll never use them again so no harm done.

pull the aircon vent out, it jus pulls straight out with a little force and you can get to them from there. no damage done to surrounds

does anyone know what switches fit in this spot as ive wanted to use it for my spotties but cant find the right size switches.
cheers

I pushed out one of the lower blanks, they are all the same size looks like, and the wide switches at super cheap seem to be the right size. Poor selection though, one driving light with red indicator, one blank with green.

im to lazy to go look but from memory just pull the fuse panel caover off and stick a finger up through there and push it out. think thats how i did mine

Pulled all this apart on the weekend and the blanks under the vent on the drivers right are different. I was wrong!
They are very deep (about an inch in the old terms) with the retention catches on the interior edge. So aftermarket switches don't fit. My bad.

So put the blanks back, and my light switches are now in the consol fittings next to the handbrake!

they fitted in mine just had to file out a very small section in two adjacent corners of the hole
