Cruise control not engaging

on my np300 , blown brake lights was the problem dont know how thats related but its happened 2 times , 1st time hapenned when i changed the rear brake globes , nissan told me that you have to use lower wattage..second time happened towing trailer,ended up putting lead lights on trailer

I once had my cruise control stop working , it turned out the switch on the clutch pedal was not connecting as it had come out of its housing when i changed the clutch master cylinder , apparently i had lifted the pedal too high to connect the clutch rod and pushed the switch back .
