connection speed

Hi guys
just wondering whether its just me or its the site. i am finding it can take up to 30 seconds some times to get a page open here. I do not suffer this on any other sites except the 4wd action site.

I get it only when opening the forum. Ie put in Navara.asia in the address bar.

I am on a 8mb ADSL connection but I am happy with the forum.

i guess it must just be me, cant explain it as i'm on Optus cable. The only 2 sites i have issues with are this one and 4wd action. Both are painfully slow

You could try performing a trace route from the command prompt in windows (assuming you are using windows).

At the prompt just enter "tracert navara.asia" without the quotes and hit enter. This will show a list of routers that your connection to the site runs through and show their ping times.

Any hops that are over say 500ms are a little on the slow side, if you get one that is in the seconds range, then this is probably the hop that is causing the problem, whether you can do anything about this is another problem.

Umm....from memory in WinXP its under Accessories->System Tools on the Start menu.
