Canopy model years??

I have a 2012 d22 dual cab (style sides)

I am trying to hunt down a second hand canopy to match

My question is what year models will fit?

I've found a canopy of an 04 model will it fit my 12 model?

Can some one give me the years when the models changed?

And does this effect canopy fit?

Again sorry if this is a double up, appreciate any feedback

From 2009 (pretty sure that's the right year) and up they have a longer tub so you'll have to look for something 2009 - current.

Hunt around for the correct year the tub size changed just to be sure. Search on the forum or Google generally knows everything

^^^ Correct. Up to 2008 have a shorter tub. The ribbed tailgate is the giveaway.
