Can i install a boost guage and controller on the same line????

Hey Guys

I Just purchased a Chip from Chip it, installed and going great. With the package though i recieved a boost controller. I have already got a boost guage fitted from the turbo to the waste gate. When i installed the boost controller now i put in on the waste gate side so that my guage would pick up the boost that is coming out of the turbo. When i went for a test run my guage was reading normal boost at around 15psi

When i unscrewed the boost controller my boost went back to about 13psi.
So logic or as i thought told me to screw the adjustment screw the other way until it showed more boost.

Wrong again i only ended up with the same so i am lost.

Have i installed it wrong.......


Can you have a guage and a controller on the same line.......

If not where do i mount them now..

Any help would be greatly appreciated with this matter.
