hi. ive been doing some reading up on the differences between these two setups, just wondering.
elcetrical says using the map sensor. while mechanical uses vacum lines.
if i t pieced from the vacum line off map sensor- would i be using an electrial or mechanical?
also which is better / easier setup in the zd30ddt ?

Well, that depends.

You are just teeing off an existing tap that gives you access to the boost pressure, what you run from there is up to you, you can hook up a mechanical gauge or an electronic one to that point.

I reckon a good electronic gauge would be slightly quicker to react and potentially more accurate, but for most purposes any difference just would not matter.

i just go myself a boost gauge i end up getting an autometer boost gauge and an EGT gauge for my truck from ebay america
