Hi Everyone,

This is on a 2010 Pathfinder ST-L but I guess theyre not that different from the Navaras.

Motor off, ignition on, fan on (no smell with fan off)
Both sides in the cab is set to max temp. Doesnt smell as much on low temp.

Anyone had a weird smell coming out from right side air vents only, not left. Replaced blower motor and fan resistor and filter. The smell is not present in the engine bay.

Is there any other electricals in the vents? Or am I looking at a dead animal or something?

I don't know that an animal would make it in there, but insects and spiders have.

It's also possible for mould to form in there. High humidity isn't going to help.

Can you send in an inspection cam?

Just about to pull the blower unit out. Is there a way to disconnect the ac lines without loosing gas?

Yes very odd, also that it was smelling with the engine off.

It had a bit of buildup/gunk where the leak on the radiator was. I’m thinking the right side air vents has a more natural flow (less corners in the airbox) perhaps that explains it..
