Air con fan issues

So my air con fan stopped working on settings 1, 2 and 3 the other day. But works on setting 4. Checked fuses everywhere and cant seem to find a busted one. I should also add that I dont have a belt on the ac compressor at thw moment. But that shouldn't change anything its been like that for ages.

Anyone had this before?

By the sounds of it your have blown the fan speed resister unit. Its how they get the various speeds.Not sure where exactly it is in the D22 but its usually in the fan housing somewhere .Am sure one of the D22 boys will know exactly

There is a thread on this but I cannot remember the name of it. Form memory it is quiet expensive to replace the resistor
