Did we get final numbers
How many are camping?
takin your boy nathan? Bring his crawler?

Raf has updated the front page as he has been given numbers of people coming, im not sure who is camping.
Im still not sure if i will be able to camp yet and im not sure if Coen will come with me or not, he usually makes up his mind on the day.

Yes, first page updated however unsure who those will be camping.
I am doing a day trip only, got too many things going on at home.

Also, numbers are looking good - unless you guys wants to invite more
people - I can post this in Earth forum.

Regards

I'll be bringing camping gear depends what Happens on the day. It might be easier to cruse back to Sydney and stay at the in-laws for the night....

i could be interested but still buying all my 4x4 gear and the NAV is stock as. Whats the tracks like? Anyone have more details?

New BBQ boys. Its not massive but I'm sure will be adequate for the job at hand. I`ll bring some Egs and Bacon on the day too and i think we have bread rolls and sausages being supplied.
Throwing new bearings, CV`s and UCA`s tonight so as long as all goes to plan bring on next weekend. Its lning up to be a good day, now its just weather dependant.

Nice BBQ man

getting my pootroll sorted - had some dramas last time I went out to Menai
had to replace my tensioner housing and now seems that the Alternator is playing up too

theres normally an easy way round if needed and there will be utes with winches if needed
you will be surprised just how far your std nav will go

We're coming, but we're not bringing the Weber Baby Q now, just a dual butane stove - we need something to boil water on as well as cook, so the BabyQ is being left in the 'van.

I changed the battery in my tub today to the D31A Optima and discover that I need an extra-long battery tray (I only have a short one in there at the moment). Hope to get the longer one purchased and fitted before the trip - I don't need to be rolling the car onto the roof and have the battery coming loose, it might do some damage!

Nah no need to invite more mate, the numbers are good as it is and we will have to avoid a few of the tracks as it is due to a few of the hill climbs that are dead ends and dont have enough room for more then three at the bottom to turn back.

At the moment i think by the time we all meet up, do some driving, have lunch and finish just the powerlines trail then leave enough time for those that are camping to make it to camp with enough daylight to set up it will be a full day, if we have more i doubt we will even get all of the powerlines done.

Yeah last time i was up there i noticed they had tried to block a couple of spots with a few piles of dirt but everyone is just driving around them and all the trails were still there.
Even if they have graded the "powerlines" there are heaps of tracks all around the ZigZag area, im sure we can find enough trails to keep us busy for the day.

I will check with a few people and see if i can get more details all the same.

For sure - just need to sort the truck sometime next week - then should be ok

Looking good fellas 15 trucks listed it should be a good weekend getting excited

yeah pretty sure there will be late addition in the list

Yep too many tracks to grade them all.

true! the trip report I read only mentioned couple of tracks that was graded so you are right, there are other tracks that will keep us occupied during the day.

By the way anyone coming up from SouthWest area? I might tag along in the morning for the journey up at the meeting point - will be my first time in the area

Some people come even with Stock Nav - you should be ok man.

No such thing as a burden when you're having fun with your mates. And if we DO have to assist you, it's just more experience for us - don't assume we know everything about it all. I learn every time I go out.

That's right - I'm also learning and only been wheeling about a year
