Hey Guys
I just found the post and about a week ago had the same problem with my 09 D22 30000kms diff making noises in the back i also took it to nissan and they took it for a drive and were pretty shocked the sound was like you could swear a mudguard was rubbing, however this wasnt the case. They dropped the oil out of it resulting in no water or metal. After they placed the new oil in and took it for a drive it was quiet as a mouse. The head mechanic said that from factory they usually use a standard oil which does not have the additive to allow the LSD to function correctly and causes the clutch in the diff to grab on slow tight corners.
Maybe changing the oil in the diffs is something everybody with a new model should do before this happens to them aswell as it seems to be a common occurence
Cheers
