Those plastic tanks have always worried me. Mine has been fine for 370kms but I know my luck and where I will be when it craps itself. 200 kay's east of Widgiemooltha 🙄 I will get around to it eventually...

So is that a single cab on a king cab chassis? Or are they the same chassis?

I don't think they sold them in Australia. Not in 4x4 at least. When I bought my dual cab in 2006 it was because there was no king cab option. The YD25 was released after I bought mine but I don't recall seeing any of those either Did they have that option in 2wd?

Not sure how the ECU knows to put more fuel in with cooler air/more O2. The ZD30 doesn't have a mass airflow sensor but I don't know about an oxygen sensor or some other way. Air inlet temp maybe?

When I am having a drink and the wife drives my Nav is when I when I realise that my seat has done 370k and the passenger seat maybe 100k max😂 Easy 2/3 of my driving is to and from work by myself I do love your seat hack sir😊🙏

Nice rig mate. 370k on mine, still good. I have been saving for a new bus when the inevitable happens but then I think $60k on a new one or $5k for a new inj pump(likely problem)? I have aircon, power windows and steering with an economical diesel. Comfy enough in the front seat for me 😁

I know Tweake has mentioned the pump chip issue quite a few times. It does surprise me that there is not a cheaper option to get a new control module bunged onto your original pump. I mean if your pump has only done a couple of hundred thousand kay's and it is clearly just the chip/ECU can that...

That radiator looks nasty! Did your old one have the plastic tank at the top? How about the new one? I have done 370k and am dubious about the longevity of a radiator with a plastic tank... I would like to replace it before It fails

I haven't heard of he snapping but I guess if they are stock and the previous owner lifted the front end by a couple of inches, full travel would put a fair twist through them. If you are in Perth you can have my old factory torsion bars mate, that would make it a bit cheaper
