Yeah grumpy, I had a small split in my fuel line underneath the protective rubber sheath or whatever surrounding the hose. A mate of mine suggested this so I cut it off and found the culprit. Right around where the feed and return hoses run together if I recall.

Yep I started that pump fund a couple of years ago. Much cheaper than feeling I need to buy a new car and starting all over again👍

Nice. I did this on my D22 when the old ones were shorting due to water getting in. Then I pranged it and got a new bar under insurance with standard bulbs in it again 🤷🏼‍♀️

Could be mate. I had this problem and it turned out to be the starter. Would crank for ages before starting, throwing a check engine light. Starter seemed fine. The crank angle sensor fault was being triggered but no issues when running, which indicated the sensor was fine. What I realised after...

Hey Bird, where are you? Are you getting a check engine light (CEL)? Is the tacho jumping while cranking or stationery? As Izzibri said a code read would help, someone nearby may have a reader, otherwise there is a flashing light method to be found on a thread here somewhere

Seems the best bet would be an ECU remap to be honest. This throttle response is addressed with a remap (drivers wish if I recall Rumpigs description on his remap thread??). Comes with the added benefit of more power all over

The fins etc on the heater core can get pretty gunked up, which is why they put filters on them these days. There is a thread on here about cleaning them which I have been meaning to do for ages, will see if I can find it It's pretty awkward to get to as I recall
