I've got to get the injectors from my TD27 tested, and the only place in town that can do it has lost their test equipment. Anyone recommend someone in Qld that I could post them to get tested?

Fit fine. So far. Engine is not in ute so no water in system. Seemed to bolt up without a problem.

Learnt something with the injectors today - took them into the local diesel shop to get tested and reconditioned. Bloke was going to order new jets, but then realised he had some from a TD42 in stock. Had a look, and it seems that the TD27T and TD42 injectors are identical.

Good to know. I'll probably have to replace on the Nav's seatbelts from the Terrano I got in the shed, so I'm guessing it'll fit too.

Would you believe I finally got around to cleaning the intake manifold of the TD27T today, almost 2 yrs later - taking a little while this project :( I swear, had up to 1cm of grease and gunk in the manifold in some spots. Spent about an hour on it, and now its soaking in engine degreaser...

Just went and took a look now (needed a break form marking exams - hooray for holidays, hey?) Obviously physically v similar, same dimensions and so on. Existing one wasn't original, or had at least been off at some stage - lots of messy gasket goo along with a metal gasket. New (aftermarket)...

How long did it take you, cwolf? Any hints?

Ahh, yeah, pretty common I believe. mines a little worse for wear. I think it requires a press to fit the new one. Dion might be able to say if he pops along here sometime.

You sure its from the rear end? I suppose it could be the bushes on the suspension. Not sure why the engine being hot would make a difference. Under load makes sense. If the engine is heating up more when under load, it means that there is something in the cooling system not quite working as...

In the middle of the back of the casing there seems to be a bit of wear, with a small cavity where the shaft meets the back of the casing. I think I'm going to ignore that and put it back together.
