Yeh, I have seen it, I access the site off my phone so I can't download it otherwise I would have already done so. I just picked up my chipit diesel chip, I just wanna know where this sensor is so i can get it hooked up and going, can someone just give me a straight answer?

It may drain out but there will still be a thin film of oil on most components which will offer enough protection, unless you like starting your car with your foot flat to the floor. I wouldn't worry about it

Get a long, thick screwdriver, hammer it right through the filter and use it for a handle to turn the filter. Even piercing the filter and letting the oil drain out I find makes it easier

Hi all, Had the bonnet up yesterday marveling at the work of art that is the Nissan 2.5 CR DI engine, when I noticed oil leaking past the clamp that comes down from the aftercooler on the cool side, being an air pipe the only way for oil to enter this system would be through the turbo right ...

I think the general consensus on chips is you get what you pay for, I think your better off saving the money to buy something that is tuneable and can hold more than one tune, although 25kw and 50nm for $500 is pretty appealing! :rock:

Finally got the car off road to try out the 265/75 16's no scrubbing whatsoever, just need new shocks to firm it up and bit more and that's it. 2" lift can wait. Snorkel, exhaust and chip here I come !

Thanks ridgey, yeh I've heard you can just raise the torsion bars, how exactly is it done? I was intending to get a 2" lift for it, apparently you just need to change the spring packs or add another leaf once the torsion bars are raised

I just had 265/75 16's fitted to my stock as a rock 2008 D22, no rubbing, no scuffing whatsoever, the gaurds are filled pretty nicely tho so it will be interesting to see what happens when It hits the beach over the weekend. Will update on tuesday

I was of the understanding that the gum forms when oil from the crankcase mixes with hot exhaust gas from the EGR, so theoretically, blocking the EGR pipe negates the need for a catchcan ?
