I have no previous history on this truck ,(Rookie error from auction)
It seemed to have alot of faults most have been repaired or they are intermitted.
The main issue is transmission Starts in all positions triptronic side, D, R and the norm P,N
Its stuck in high gears and wont engage low gears (clunks R and D)
taking off from stopping very sluggish until turbo kicks in then it drives well heaps of power 110 ks at 3000revs( it seems to change high end gears I cant feel it but the taco does drop a little to suggest gear change)
130 at slightly over 3000 then after about 10 ks it wont go over 102ks with about
2600revs
Let it sit overnight most the time it does the same sluggish plenty of top end then limp
It does throw random codes they come and go turbo , timing ,injectors cam position ect
There is a flashing code when I have reset ECU 13 slow 10 10 10 fast
just a guess ,that has some answers
4x4 light is always on ( nothing shows on dash If its put in low or hi 4x4 ) it wont engage just stays in 2wd but the armature back of the transfer box /transmission does move as h4 or low or 2wd is selected(like new inside no water marks) also a pictogram of 4x4system LHS dash cluster stays on for a second or 2 shows hi low 4x4 selection then sometimes just 2wd random
No cruise control ,picture comes on the dash cluster but wont engage
Nissan was my first call $$$ and no idea take it to auto sparky

Mechanic$$$no idea
Auto sparky $$ no idea
Diesel repappers mechanic$$ no Idea
Transmission specialist no idea
Auto sparky north of me and truck transporter $$$$$$$
4 hours to find corroded wire to transmission on harness and plug. ( internal removal) their guy was busy 6 weeks back to gearbox guys$$$$$
Internal harness was corroded couldn't get an internal harness without valve body$$
They serviced valvebody replaced harness internal and plug internal external
And no difference
I guess back north to auto sparky for another take
Other things have been
3 external switches changed transfer /tranny pos nuteral ect
Main Harness ECU to tranny ,turbo and sensors changed
Changed TCM
Brand new Battery
Every ground I could find sand clean treat
Removed any unwanted wiring
Sparkies seem happy with electrics but im not to sure
