ZD30 timing cover removal ?

hi, i
read that you can remove the zd30 timing cover without dropping the sump.( engine still in )
i`ve taken the studs out for the water pump on my zd 30 and i`ve pulled the timing cover forward a bit, like just about off, but it seems to be catching down the bottom somewhere .. ? and cant remove it.

Gday, I'm assuming you mean the outer timing cover so you can get to the timing chain? there is one bolt down the bottom thats pretty well hidden.

hi, its the big alloy timng gear cover. not the one that just covers the chain.. already got that one off....
