Zd30 rattle on cold start with slight shudder

Hi Guys,

I had been having a problem with fuel drain back (parked uphill). So May this year I installed a new Nissan primer but still on a steep hill it wouldn't start. I had to disconnect the fuel line and prime it for an age, once it started after hard crank the rattle developed so recently I installed a non return valve by the tank and the spill line mod, now from a cold start it fires up ok but it has the rattle and slight shudder almost like a miss for a few seconds or so. Vehicle is stock bar EGR blanked 350'000ks. Has anyone had this issue. Kev.

Possible air lock or slow leak shouldn't drain back at all ? Check all your lines for weepage or cracks hiwnis your fuel pump supply

perhaps the issues are not related? Just a thought, perhaps investigate in some injector cleaner and/or something like seafoam to clean the combustion area, i've seen some good things on project farm youtube channel relating to this
