Hi I have a block that only needed decking and honing the bore. Bottom end OK So fitted standard pistons with new rings and new bearings
As the deck was machined the pistons protude about a fingernail height. Now I cannot find deck clearence in the manual. So what is the best option. Someone mentioned fitting 2 head gaskets. Last time I did that was when Holden grey motors were used in Taxi's we fitted 2 head gaskets for them to run on standard petrol (showing my age ) I really don't want to machine the pistons unless neccessary
