hi im new to the navara. I bought a new 2014 st spanish build navara last year. I want to do the egr plate and catch can but am not sure what egr plate. I have seen a 62mm and 72mm I think it was. which one do I get or does anyone sell them? also will I throw a code or do I need a plate with the hole
Loving the navara to. thanks

Pull out your egt pipe.. easy to do.. when you take off the nuts and remove the pipe there will be a metal kinda gasket.. that's the shape you need.. no hole needed either. .very simple really

As above - that gasket between the EGR tube and the EGR valve on the intake side is the best template you could hope for. Mark it out on a piece of 1mm stainless, drill the two bolt holes and make sure you keep it nice and flat. Sensor-safe gasket cement should be applied to both sides before installation.

It could very well throw a code - the Spanish 140kW motors had an EGR flow sensor that you had to satisfy by putting a 6mm to 8mm hole in the middle of the plate. You'll know if it does - the CEL will come on in your instrument panel. Remove the plate, make the hole, reinstall and there should be no further drama.

Thanks Old.Tony
I put my blank in when the was 3 numbers on my odometer with no hole.. no dramas yet..best if your going to make one to leave the hole out first.. once you've found what needs to be removed to get back at the blank, it's no real trouble to remove again and drilla hole..
BEST OF LUCK WITH IT AND ENJOY THE MODING TO COME
