Hi All. Been member for a while & usually just read but now have a question i hope you can help?
Need some advice on which all terrain tyre seems to work best on a 3ltr D22 Navara 4 door. Something that gets pretty good millage, low road noise & good off road grip? (Well as good a grip as i can 4 an all terrain):cheers!:

BFGoodrich get my vote. Mine have done 40,000'kms and still have a heap of life left, are excellent on road. They really do need to be let down to work properly off road though.

+1 for the BFGs. I can't fault mine, had them now for almost 10,000kms. But like Matt says, you do need to get them down to about 15psi or lower to get a nice long tread on the harder stuff.

STZ are a bit on the tame side i think if you wanna go offroad a bit. If its just a couple of camping trips and mostly on dirt tracks like in national parks etc sure look at stz. I think you'd better to look at the ATZ 4 or 5 rib. Both are pretty quiet and great offfroad for a AT tyre. i went 4rib and luv em. Oh and they look shit hot too lol

One of my brothers has yoko Yoko GO12 on his triton and just couldn't find traction on a steep climb and descent we did, where as my other brother with 5 rib atz and my nav with 4rib atz made it look easy. Just putting that out there, Good thing with the mickeys you get deep tread so they do last well.

bfg's are a good tyre i had them on my old d22 and got 120000km from them and there pretty good off road in my opinion. i have put mt's atz 4 rib on my d40 to give them a try, they are a bit noisier then the bgf's. i have only had the new mt's on some easy tracks but seem ok.
